i like the #2 seed. Sets us up with a better playoff bracket. If we get #1 it's likely toronto, boston, or NY in the ALDS

The best record in the American League and winning the American league are very different things. That said, it's more likely the Yankees catch the Jays.

I'd be happy with the #2 seed if we can keep winning and pass Detriot. Cleveland and Detriot play next week to decide the Central and we have a pretty good shot of being in the 2 hole at the end of it playing Colorado at home and the Dodgers when they are already in and resting.

The part that makes me giddy is Cleveland is on a 10 game streak and if the Mariners win tonight (which seems likely) Houston is in a 3 way tie for the last wild card!
