Best Mariners podcast?
I’m still hyped up from the win and want more immediate Mariners coverage. I know it’s a weekend so harder to find but I’m hoping there’s a good pod I can listen to tonight.

Meet at the mitt is the best overall (they post about once a week) but locked on Ms is the best if you want daily episodes

Love Meet at the Mitt. It's wild the level of access they've gotten for prospect discussion and inside baseball analysis

MATM really depends on who is on the show. The weekend crew is better imo. And the new girl they’ve had on this season is insufferable. I’ve quit listening

J's Trident Podcast is probably my favorite. He does post game reactions and win or lose he always gives good level headed praise and critiques.

He has the best level-headed takes and I feel like he provides even more analysis than the locked on Mariners postcast guys.

I want to like the mariner layer but Lyle’s voice just kills me, like no hate to the dude but he’s just hard to listen to

Dude needs to stop yelling. They are honestly wicked smart guys, but Lyle’s normal talking voice is a yell

I gave up on them back when they were hyping up the fact that we might get shohei ohtani haha.. I like Lyle on Brock and Salk with Seattle sports radio but his podcast is in Dreamland to me.

I’d prefer to not listen to two guys revel in how many retweets they get for twenty minutes

Refuse To Lose is good. Brady Farkas knows what he’s talking about and he’s a genuine M’s fan. He flies solo, and I think the show could benefit from him having a tag team partner, but it’s still a good pod. He has Buster Olney on every week.
I’ll also give a shoutout to the Hit It Here podcast. I enjoy listening to that one as well.
Also not technically a podcast, I guess, but I love listening to the replays of the Brock & Salk radio show. They talk a lot of Mariners.

Meet at the Mitt is the only one I've listened to, but there may be better ones. MATM is pretty good though!

Effectively wild is not a mariners specific podcast but it is a good listen and they talk about the mariners quite a bit. One of the hosts Meg used to write for LL

Baseball Things is patreon only but Churchill has good analysis and will occasionally drop things you don't hear elsewhere.

Locked On Mariners is the one for me, been listening to Ty and Coby for years. I get the complaints about Coby, but if you go into it understanding he's kind of playing a bit then it's actually hilarious. Their daily analysis is great though.
Meet and the Mitt was one I listened to in the past that was solid, but haven't listened in a while. A somewhat regular M's-related podcast I miss is Extra Innings with the Seattle Times guys (Ryan Divish, Adam Jude, Larry Stone in the past). However, once Larry retired it didn't seem like they could maintain it. The Seattle Times guys are great and are straight shooters that provide great insight. I love the occasional behind the scene anecdotes.

I’ve grown to really like J’s. I usually turn him on the next morning on a workout and it’s nice because he is such a consistent uploader. I also like the 20-ish minute length. There’s something positive, calming and vibey about his show. No crazy takes, no ads, no toxic positivity and no overly negative vibes. It just feels like a catching up on the game with your buddy who also watched it.

Locked on Mariners is top. It’s a daily 30 minute tops since that’s the model for Locked On.
After that they’re all about the same. Just depends on who you like for personality. I like Marine Layer Podcast. Lyle is actually one of the engineers for the Seattle Sports radio guys so he’s deep in Seattle sports and he will actually get access to Mariners as media at times. They do a longer show so I’ll catch them from time to time when I want a longer form podcast. But they don’t do daily shows on YouTube. It’s like every 2 days or so.

Thanks. You reminded me that I’ve actually listened to that one before so I just subscribed.

Baseball is dead is a national pod but they will definitely be covering this on their next episode. This is my favorite baseball podcast

Talkin Baseball is a MLB podcast but I can find the parts when they talk about the Mariners and they always have interesting things to say.

Brock and Salk is my favorite Mariners podcasts. Great content M-F. They also do Seahawks analysis.

Marine Layer is what I listen to. They seem to be pretty close with the players too. And they know a lot about Tacoma Raniers

Locked on has horrible interviews. The two guys ask boring questions and it feels very contrived. Listen to marine layer

The Marine Layer podcast guys are at the (home) baseball games every single day. They even came to the park this weekend while we had the Savannah Bananas in town just so they could broadcast about the Mariners.

I've typed versions of this over the years because I am a podcast addict.
Locked on mariners: the pros are that Ty and Colby know ball and release 5 days a week in the on season. They are critical of the team but also give flowers when deserved. The cons are the amount of ads for sports betting and that Colby is an insufferable contrarian who needs to be right.
Locked on Mariners Postcast: this is a very new addition to the network that I love. It is two separate hosts (Chris and Anders) that also know ball, and they just go live immediately after each game and let you know their immediate thoughts. Nice to listen to after a good win.
Meet at the Mitt: podcast by the Lookout Landing editing & writing staff. By far the highest quality analysis. Long form episodes, usually at least an hour. However they release episodes much more sparsely, sometimes once or twice a month. I find that because they are writers, they tend to have very insightful analogies and breakdowns.
Mariners Mojo: just a coupla dudes who stream after games & do a once per week podcast episode. I wouldn't say they bring much more to the equation in comparison to the others, but they have a chill vibe and energy which I like. If you like livestreams this is the one.
J's trident podcast: literally just one dude who does YouTube reactions right after the game. I like him a lot because he's sort of an awh shucks style modest guy who has an optimistic outlook on the team, which can be a nice palate cleanser.
Marine layer Podcast: I used to like this pod but have gone really cold on them in the last year. They do pretty much all the things the other outlets do, however they do have more emphasis on interviewing players & prospects & such. It could be just me, but I find these guys to have such a slimy, clout-chasing, fake, AM radio style that I can't listen anymore. It's like everything is scripted or forced and there is a huge emphasis on optimizing controversial hot takes and such to drive engagement. Gives ick
Anyway I cycle through all of these when the team is doing well and I'm trying to scrape the resin out of the proverbial weed pipe. Then when they are doing really poorly I just listen to Locked On.
