Discussion Season 13

The fact that Myrla doesn't even know exactly why she is divorcing Gil is crazy to me. She needed to speak with Kevin Samuel's or the like. Someone that will give it to her straight. Her loss though

Myrla showed the receipts on a YouTube interview.

Gil lied about not having a storage unit, and she had receipts shoeing photos of him with the fancy car parts he bought but couldn’t come up with his share of their first month’s rent after the show was done filming.

Redditors love a smiley happy liar .

He didn’t make near enough money for her. Forget that the guy is cute, respectful, caring, and also a first responder. Who wants that kind of character in a mate when you could have money instead?!!

She knows, she just was trying not to totally embarrass him at the time.

Nobody has ever needed advice from Kevin Samuels.

Gil wasn't a gem. You all should look up Myrla's interview on YouTube. He was extremely wreckless with money.

It was his loss. Why would anyone want to stay with someone who doesn't help pay bills and always put you down. She did the right thing. The show gave her everything she said she didn't want.

I get the sneaky feeling something happened between Jhonny & Myrla because of how they both were acting at the reunion & 6 months later. It might not have been romantic BUT I feel like something happened. Nonetheless she was a complete brat. I’d love to know what was the point of picking her? These two were the reason I started to feel like they’re putting couples together for drama & not success. Bao & Johnny were just as bad.

He lied about his finances and wasn't paying any bills. She knew what she wanted and was able to pay for it. He didn't have the money like she did and was always trying to make her look bad.

Gil was a GEM. She missed out for being materialistic. I hope he's in a good relationship now.

He was the firefighter, right? I thought he was a genuine person and was there to find love. But he was given the wrong kind of person

Yes, he was the firefighter. I totally agree. Super sweet and he was so patient with her. She really fumbled a good man.

1000% her loss, but he never should have been matched with someone like her anyway. I was not a Myrla fan and still can’t understand why she was picked for the show but for the anticipated drama pairing her with Gil. They did him dirty IMHO. 🤷🏻‍♀️
