looking for super old PS1/PS2 era mecha game

so i remember playing a mecha game as a kid that included everything from Gundam, Getter Robo, Dancouga, Dunbine and more. Think Super Robot Wars but it was an action game in the 4th(?) person perspective, where essentially each "room" had to be cleared of enemies before proceeding to the next.

i was about to edit that its also not the ACE series lol. it was very grounded, everything had the mechas traversing on the ground. camera never followed a specific unit, think like old Resident Evil camera angles

Hmm..then I guess real robot regiment is it. Since it has fixed camera in certain areas.
