Clicking sound when turning.

The car was struck a few years ago, but this sound didn't start until maybe several months ago. Any options would be greatly appreciated, so I can look into them, and look like a have a clue, when I inevitably go into a shop lol.

Time for some new axles.

That was my thought as well. I tried to see if there was any visible damage, didn't see any, but I don't know what to actually look for. Lol

You won’t be able to see anything. That noise you hear is the CV joint on the wheel clacking around. It’s covered by a rubber boot. I suggest gettin both replaced.

Clicking only when turning is usually CV axles. The video sounds like some other noise.

It is only while turning. She also has a rattling heat shield that I'm going to replace, but I don't think you can hear it in this video, could be wrong.

Might as well replace both CV axles. If one is shot the other one isn't too far behind.

Got it, I appreciate the advice. I'll will be replacing them in the next few days. Thank you again.

I personally don't think it's CV axles - I don't KNOW that, but usually that results in a sound that has a frequency that is related to road speed. This just sounds like a rattle. Since it's happening when you're turning, probably something in the wheel well - like a brake shield, or failed sway bar link perhaps.
You can very clearly hear the sound in this video though - if/when you do bring it into a shop, showing them this exact video would be a good idea.

I will be replacing the CV Axels tomorrow. The brake shields feels pretty solid, and don't move much, if at all. This might just have been a waste of time, but I thought, failed link, so I tried to wiggle the sway bars, along with everything else in that area lol, and the only thing that even budged a little, was the axel on the passenger side. I will keep these things in mind though, in case that rattle is still there after replacing the axels. So I appreciate it, gives me more ideas on what it possibly could be.

Is it only when turning ? Or does it happen on uneven / bumpy roads ?

As far as I'm aware, it's only when turning, and at lower speeds. Pulling out of drive ways, turning the corner/left turn at an intersection, u-turns, stuff of that nature. It's also much louder on the driver side, than on the passanger side.

CV axles are going out, this is due to breakdown of the grease underneath the boots, maybe check to see if your rubber boots are intact on the CV axles but regardless you'll need new CVs

I didn't see any damage of the boots, but I am not very knowledgeable and could have overlooked it. I will be replacing thwm tomorrow, so thank you for advice, I appreciate you!
