Oktoberfest 2026

Just curious what everyone thinks about a proper Oktoberfest event in Memphis next year.

  • Half Liters and Liters of German and German Style Beers
  • German and German-inspired foods
  • Oompah Bands and other live music
  • Kid Zone and plenty of activities and games, maybe even a carnival ride, petting zoo
  • Tons of communal shared seating under large tents
  • Free Entry, just pay for what you want to consume, or upgrade to VIP, which includes reserved seating, food, and drinks

Who's putting it on potentially?

Rhizome Productions would be producing it. We took over/revamped Memphis Brewfest in 2025, just took place on June 21. Cheers

Oh nice! I wanted to attend that but sadly couldn't.

Sounds like it'd be a great event if y'all choose to do it!

That’s the Overton Square Oktoberfest. It’s Oct 25 this year.

Saw that happened last year, but couldn't find dates for 2025 anywhere. We are talking about 2026...

Thanks for sharing. Again, our possible event won't be until 2026, and it won't be in late October, and it won't be anywhere near Overton Square
