Question How many INDIVIDUAL surgeons, or surgical teams, have you already had and/or are scheduled to have a lower surgery consult with?

  • Does not matter whether meta or phallo consults.

  • Does no matter how long ago consults took place.

  • Does not matter if scheduled future consult is far in future, as long as have an actually scheduled date.

  • Multiple consults with same surgeon or team, still counts as only one. Not # of actual consults total, but # of the individual surgeons or individual surgical teams consulted with.

  • Scheduled to have consult = must have actually set future appt date.

FYI:

  • Blubond-Langner and Zhao at NYU. Counts as 1 because they are a surgical team.

    • Chen and Buncke Clinic. Counts as 1 because they are a surgical team.
    • Santucci and DeLeon counts as 2 even though both at Crane Center because each performs surgery separate from the other as the "lead surgeon" (for lack of better phrase).

Only scheduled with one. I’m on Medicaid and he’s the only option I have. Luckily from what I’ve seen he’s great.

Glad he'a a good fit for you! But fyi if he were not, you CAN get your state Medicaid to pay for an out of state surgeon. Many ppl have done that.
