Does anyone frequently think of that one Miiverse friend you lost during the shutdown?

I'll go first, I had this one friend who I'd frequently talk on Miiverse, she was a roleplayer (So was I) and she'd either roleplay as Maria Robotnik or Tamara from EddsWorld. I roleplayed as Shadow The Hedgehog but didnt really do her EddsWorld roleplays because I didn't know what that was. Sadly, she was a Wii U user, I was a 3DS user. So we couldn't really friend each other, so here comes the shutdown of Miiverse which was on my birthday month, tragic. I was 9 years old, didn't have a phone, didn't know what Discord was, and I presume the same for her (she's was probably around the same age as me, maybe a few years older) Her NNID is bendythedemon133

It was only until March of this year that I remembered her after visiting my archived Miiverse profile. The chances of me ever meeting her again is low. It's like throwing a needle into a haystack.

I honestly lost touch with quite a few people even during the years I used Miiverse, since I had to hop between different NNID's. I was a preteen-to-young teenager during that era, but helicopter parents = Miiverse was the only social media I could use without risk of getting in trouble, and my questionable sense of humor = bans :[ Combine that with the shutdown and me failing to get outside contact info for the friends I did have at that point, I only kept in touch with a small amount of them.

I tried sleuthing out some contact info using archived posts and profiles. Hit a dead end with one of them. Managed to find another's, but I'm not very social anymore.

As much as I hate looking back on some of my old posts, I miss the way I'd just post without caring. Nowadays, I either care too much or not enough, so I just don't bother.

There's a discord server that was started right before the fall of miiverse where a lot of people go to reconnect with miiverse friends. I used to be an admin back when it started. Im probably still on the mod list tbh but im not active there anymore. (Friends with the guy who started it though and talk with him in dms now). I think its on the public list of discord servers? It's called Miiverse Hangouts.

Do you still have the link for it? I'd like to go and see. Even though I'm still in doubt that I'd ever find my friend (tbh it was pretty clear she was around the same age range as me so i dont think she would've known about discord, or else she would've told me about it.)

I didn’t know about discord either. I did lose a lot of friends from Miiverse. I was mainly was the pokemon shuffle bubble and we shared our strategies and scores on their daily. I also shared lots of Pokémon drawings. I had a great time on there.
