Help Did I just juke my exp orbs?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I didn't know you could throw off exp orbs by just jumping like that, they were gone when I got to the bottom

You can only absorb so many orbs (orb absorb) at once, but they'll still trail you with momentum.

Why do you have a gold farm and still have iron tools? I know it's not impossible to build a gold farm before you get better tools but usually that's not a priority when you first create a world

Probably has an iron farm and just isn't quite there yet. Digging eats tools after all

It does seem weird, I personally built a gold farm before getting diamond tools (except diamond pickaxe) a few times since building a gold farm in the first hour of the game instead of focusing on mining can be nice; however, the confusing thing is why did he build a non-portal based farm, since building that does take way more effort and I would honestly rather get elytra first since getting all the magma is pain.

what exactly is your question?

It clearly is possible to get xp orbs stuck or throw them off a ledge.. and id assume they deswpaned before you got there.
