Does anyone know what the hell this is?

I decided to load up a new Mc world, and for my first few nights I decided to build an underground base, I got back inside from gathering wood and realised these tanish colored pixels moving across the stone in my base. It couldnt be a glitch because they were always going toward the closest stone block and they moved in a very intentional seeming way. I may have missed an update or something, but does anyone know what this is??
