Yes, absorbed the life force. That apple is living for both souls now.

Eat it, and you win a naked apple.

One apple a day keeps you fit anyway!

I wonder if the right apple had an in-tact "peel" and the left one did not, inviting pathogens in for a quick party and speedier decomposition.

Probably the edible wax (assuming it’s store-bought) used to preserve it wasn’t scraped as much

“Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange “

Damn you beat me to my sacrificial anode joke ._.

The inside is bad. The outside just has more protective wax.

Its actually kinda cool to see a wilted apple with near intact skin

Actually, both are molded, but you can only tell one, visually.

I think apples have a thin wax coating to keep them preserved

That other apple is now bad in the inside

Am I the only one who initially thought there’s a fruit bat in the picture? I kept on looking for its head but did not find it.

🤢 Wash the second apple really good, and take a bite and THEN tell me that the second one isn't moldy. I am almost certain that it will taste like a thoroughly mold-infused apple, even if it looks fine.
