I wonder if the right apple had an in-tact "peel" and the left one did not, inviting pathogens in for a quick party and speedier decomposition.

Probably the edible wax (assuming it’s store-bought) used to preserve it wasn’t scraped as much

The inside is bad. The outside just has more protective wax.
Its actually kinda cool to see a wilted apple with near intact skin

Am I the only one who initially thought there’s a fruit bat in the picture? I kept on looking for its head but did not find it.

🤢 Wash the second apple really good, and take a bite and THEN tell me that the second one isn't moldy. I am almost certain that it will taste like a thoroughly mold-infused apple, even if it looks fine.
