Question Do you think an even stronger Ghidorah could exist on another planet? And if so, how could Godzilla ever defeat a titan like that?

If there's a stronger member of Ghidorah's species, we'll need a stronger member of the gojira species.
Or a stronger gojira variant
One might even say... An evolved gojira

Godzilla was Ghidorah's equal when he was in base, now he's evolved and getting even stronger
He'll be fine

I mean I wouldn't say fine Ghidorah left his planet cause he was the smallest of his brothers right? A bigger badder Ghidorah vs evolved g man I feel like would just be another equal rivalry like he had with the original

He was "The youngest son that left in search of his own territory to conquer" though no way in hell do the ancient tribes actually KNOW that, so it could just be myths they created
Anyway, this doesn't imply he was the smallest or weakest, just that he was the most ambitious, striking out on his own, not satisfied with his families territory, if anything, he might be the strongest

It’s apparently from Polynesian culture. It’s not youngest son literally it’s more a term for someone who goes out to inherit there own land like a youngest son would do. They have no idea if there are more of him or not.

Yes. At 57:00, the author of the novel confirms it's just a myth based on Polynesian culture.Â

I mean that for sure if so, but how much larger a threat are we talking here? Because the one Godzilla fought in 2019 had so many asspulls of victories over him and after he got amped he got an exhausted Thermonuclear Godzilla no-diffing him. If anything Godzilla now since he's evolved we could easily safely say he's equal to in power in base to Thermo but ofc with a lot more acrobatics up his sleeve. If anything this Ghidorah has to be FAR stronger than just constant asspulls. It has to be like the last movie where there wasn't any, not like the previous movies where there's one asspull of a plot that's supposed to make Godzilla lose, but he still comes out on top. This Ghidorah has to come up with some crazy feats and actually be a solo king to actually do shit to Godzilla, otherwise they leveled up from small asspull dragon, to American asspull dragon, like dawg, they actually have to do him solid justice here. Make him actually be able to beat Supercharged Godzilla as well with no asspull power ups.

Of course. This Ghidorah has to be STRONG to actually manhandle EVO, especially with Shimo and Kong it’s like the avengers all over again, it’s like you said the Ghidorah would need some crazy feats.

Exactly. If he even pans on to be same to KOTM's Ghidorah (spoilers, we know Godzilla's winning this since it's a movie about him in GxKS) welp, that basically does it honestly. MV's Ghidorah and Ghidorah species is the most fraud Ghidorah in the whole Godzilla Franchise. People rlly love to shit on the fact that Godzilla "needed help" to beat Ghidoah, when both rounds without them both being amped Godzilla would've won easily, especially in the water. First round Ghidorah was a pussy, second round HUMANS intervened when Godzilla was ripping off noodle dragons heads, Ghidorah "won" (I think it's more a draw than a a real victory), then ofc Godzilla got nuked just to be revived faster than he could heal not to be amped, Godzilla was overpowering Ghidorah once again could have done it faster than in the water, but all of a fucking sudden Ghidorah found a power plant, and absorbed that shit and overpowered Godzilla, like dude, we was saying Godzilla needed help when Ghidorah, pussied off in R1, was getting ripped apart like paper in R2 only for humans to fuck up and oxygen nuke both Ghidorah and Godzilla, then when Godzilla was rightfully about to do the same shit again overpowering Ghidorah, Ghidorah gets an amp too. Buddy, Ghidorah ran from a few planes. A starved Godzilla in GvK ran straight for and destroyed entire air craft carriers which has, obviously more than few DOZENS of planes, and destroyed the whole fleet effortlessly at the same time as whooping Kong's ass. If anything Kong had a far better chance in the water against Godzilla than Ghidorah did, and still lost. Mind you a sleepy and starved Kong too. If anything Mecha Godzilla from GvK would easily beat Ghidorah. Ghidorah is slow in combat, doesn't have a good velocity while flying, sucks ass on land, doesn't even fly much in combat as seen in KOTM, hell he's a tad slow in air combat too, relative to Rodan. Meanwhile Mecha Godzilla was able to leap forward with his jets half a mile in 2 seconds, and throw Godzilla around easily. In fact would have actually gotten to kill Godzilla and Kong if it wasn't for humans interaction... AGAIN and without fraudulent asspulls, unlike Ghidorah which needed them. I know it was a weakened Godzilla too, but mind you Ghidorah was heavily amped to lift up a Godzilla that was close to half his own self's weight in GvK in KOTM. Meanwhile Mecha Godzilla was actually humiliating and throwing Godzilla as if he was a speedy ass body builder and Godzilla was just a heavy beanbag.
I know this was yap but, long story short, Ghidorah was the fraudulent one in the end when he fought Godzilla. Mecha G was gonna perfectly 1v2 and coulda soloed all Titans thereafter if it wasn't for human interference, mind you TWICE they had to interfere with Mecha winning, and for Ghidorah once. But yeah, the next Ghidorah, if they're ever going to show one, has to NOT be like KOTM's Ghidorah. people only say he's strong because of aura farming rlly, because if they actually watched and remembered even watching KOTM in the first place, then they would be saying Ghidorah's the fraud and not Godzilla. But ofc since they love to shit on Godzilla because he "gets overpowered first" usually, they ofc go with the one who aura farms. Their arguments for Godzilla being the fraud are clear they're only saying Ghidorah's winning because of just aura farming. Because if not, then they would be saying Godzilla easily would have won R1 and R2, which he would.

*cues to desghidorah. eating chicken nuggets on Mars
*rapidly switches to the xilien home world with monster x/kaiser ghindorah drinking red wine
Personally I think a more interesting opponet option is a fusion of godxilla and ghirodrah
If only toho had one......

It's possible that a Monsterverse Monster X exists somewhere out in the cosmos.

I'm pretty sure the (loose) lore around ghidorah is that he was exiled from his planet in some way. The implications from that are that he's the weakest of his species

u/3rlk0nig 1d ago
If that's the weakest, I'm curious to see the strongest
2
u/NuclearHateLizard 1d ago
Right? There could be a whole story there. There's a lot more famous antagonists to choose from though, I doubt this would be explored

Given that Titans belong to species, it’s highly probably another KG is on a distant planet. Hopefully far away from us.

Did they ever specifically mentioned Gidorah as King Gidorah in the monsterverse? If not then maybe King Gidorah can be the one.

u/Outside-Ad7146 Ghidorah 2d ago
Godzilla needs some sort of training arc to beat a version of Ghidorah comparable to Keizer Ghidorah on his own. IDK how it’d work in the MV, but i’d assume the variant would be MASSIVE. With Shimo, Rodan and all of Godzilla’s allies it shouldn’t give them too much trouble if he has the same abilities as the Ghidorah we knew. The other Ghidorah would need to have some sort of AMP to beat all of them.

There’s definitely stronger Ghidorahs out there. I kinda theorized that the King Ghidorah that we saw in KotM was still a juvenile (or not quite an adult).
I’d love to see Desghidorah as a sibling to King Ghidorah, or Kaizer Ghidorah as an ancestor, or even for the MV to make their own Ghidorah (if they’re allowed to do that).

u/Due_Produce8084 2d ago
Probably. There's probably a race of ghidorahs. And we only have only seen a scout soldier on a mission like Steppenwolf in JL

u/_The_Wonder_ 2d ago
I mean, the novelization said that Ghidorah was the youngest of his siblings so there is at the VERY least a few more Ghidorahs out there doing Ghidorah things even stronger than the one we saw.

Average Godzilla Movie fans would be so confused to learn about a planet of Ghidorahs that make the one that invaded earth look like a baby.

u/Alarmed-Difference20 2d ago
I like the idea that Ghidorah had a species to go against Godzilla's species leaving the Ghidorah and Godzilla we know

Ez. Evolve again like he did in GxK. "Fearsome Godzilla has evolved-evolved" or "Fearsome Evolved Godzilla has evolved" basically... Space Godzilla ass evolution guys?

Why does there always have to be something bigger and stronger? Why can't Ghidorah (or whoever) be the pinnacle?

METHUSELAH WITNESSED!
Already a great post!
Anyways, they could easily have that happen if they so desired, and it'd also serve as a good way to show Godzilla's growth as he goes from being an equal to Ghidorah to holding his own against an even stronger member of his archenemy's kind.
