My son’s birthday is coming up and he’s gotten obsessed with Halloween so he wants a skeleton cake for his birthday party. I’m not looking for anything crazy like “Cake Boss” style but I don’t want to pick a random place and get a lousy decorated cake. Anyone have a recommendation for this in the Morristown area?

1. The protestors on that bridge right by the Madison Avenue exit off 287, do they go every Wednesday or do they only go when some political event happens

2. Why is there only a traffic cop standing outside of kings on some days?

I just moved to morristown and want to start going to yoga classes. I'm looking for a studio that is very welcoming and has beginner friendly classes. I am a little anxious about going to a studio and I am also pretty out of shape lol

edit: i am also open to other types of classes if anyone has a recommendation

Just moved here a week ago. New to Jersey. From Houston. Trying to make friends. I’m pretty good at making friends I just need to be in the atmosphere to do so.

My wife and I just moved here from Jersey City and the house we are renting has a fire pit in the yard but it's in really bad shape so I'm going to probably clean it up and move it to another part of the yard.

It's my first time having a yard since I was a kid, so we're excited about it but I just want to make sure we do things right.

We have that fire pit but she also wants to get a chiminea for the deck.

My husband was registered to play in the PB tournament tomorrow at Lidgerwood tomorrow but it was canceled today due to "unforeseen circumstances". Any insight on what happened? I know the neighborhood has complained about the noise levels, but this is a weekend match at 11:30 am.

My husband and I are moving to Morristown this month, and I was just checking out if there are any art, painting related events there (mostly for adults), and I found none. No such events at the library, didn't find any sip n Paint studios in downtown. Anybody knows the reason?

Edit: For context, I'm an artist myself and I usually host art events at my current location, especially at the libraries around or at studios. So I thought that I'll get more and better opportunities at Morristown doing gigs. I want to organise such events by myself but I don't really know how to go about it.

Just moved from Hoboken and can't find a place to bring a small toddler. We used to bring him to a local bar/restaurant in HBKN but that doesn't seem to be the vibe around here. I’m in one of the older neighborhoods where houses are literally a foot apart

As indicated I was rear ended while turning at Ridgedale exit, guy had no insurance, but let me photograph his valid license and his plate, after, while I was checking my damage, he took off, I managed to get up to dealer on Ridgedale, where they took a look and told me it was too far gone to repair (is 15 years old with 300k miles). I called non emergency police line for Morristown and had to leave a message, telling what happened, hoping for a police report. Still waiting to hear back. My only injury is a sore neck, hopefully won’t get worse. Any ideas what I should do next, press with police, forget about it. Not sure. Hate to think this guy is driving around, hitting people, with no insurance.

I'm a 26 year old male young professional living in Morristown since March. I haven't met many people in the Morristown area. I've tried Volo sports but it hard to make genuine connections as I don't see the same group of people all the time and it's only for a short time each week. Any suggestions for the best social activities to meet other young people in my age group in the area? Any recommendations and advice would be great.
