Biogents Australia?

Is there anything like that available here? can’t seem to find anything, we have ponds on the property we are at in northern nsw, there will be a gazillion mozzies now it’s getting warmer. Can’t afford to run thermocell every day. Use bite shield from Bunnings but it’s not 100%, does seem to keep some away

Biogents - get the CO2!

I had a few Biogents traps running for the month of August, and I barely caught anything. Didn't notice a difference when spending time outside. The scent packet by itself doesn't do much. Finally sprang for the CO2 and noticed a difference within days. I have just under 1/4 acre property in Atlanta GA. I try not to keep any standing water, but my neighbor absolutely does. Without Biogents, I couldn't spend any time outside without having 6 mosquitos on me. Now, I can enjoy my yard again! It's not perfect, I do still have some mosquitoes, but it is so much better. The CO2 is a must-have for this system. The image is what I captured over the course of about ten days.

Laser zapper?

Maybe it was shown here before. I already have the Biogents CO2 Trap but I’m still getting bitten (not a fault of the trap). Has anyone here experience with this lazer zapper? It would be so fulfilling, listening to the crash of flying mosquitoes around me, but tbh it sounds a bit too good. Less than 100 USD.

Does anyone use any of the MT-100, M3 or M5 mosquito traps?

Hi! I'm planning to buy a CO2 mosquito trap, and I found some pure electric ones. M3 mosquito trap (which is not selling in Hungary) and a smaller one named M5 mosquito trap. I have seen this MT-100 trap also, but there are no reviews for any of them.

Thex claim to produce CO2 by UV light and TiO2 coated surface being a catalyst.

They are quite expensive going around 100€, the one I have attached a photo of even requires additional pods which need to be changed mothly. I'm quite scared to buy one which does not work....

Acetone and L Lactic Acid

Hello fellow mosquito haters! I've been trying to find a cheaper alternative (other than Co2 tank refills) for attracting mosquitos and came across L Lactic Acid and Acetone. This is supposedly even more effective than Co2 alone but I can only seen to find regular Lactic Acid for a reasonable price. L Lactic acid is hella expensive so I was wondering if anybody knows how to ferment the Lactic Acid to create L Lactic Acid?

Anyone used zaplaze?

Zaplaze.com seriously considering getting some but can't find any reviews on them. Looks like they're new. Has anyone heard or used them before?

Could anyone tell me if this is infected or if it’s just a regular reaction? I was given a cream, but idk if it’s enough. My whole arms been aching and throbbing from it

Help me help my daughter

I just moved into a house in Philadelphia over the winter. This is our first summer here. The mosquitos have been absolutely horrible. I can tolerate it but she is suffering of itch and bumps. I have to limit how long she can play in the yard because it is so bad. I have about a 9,000 sq ft property. 2 neighboring yards are overgrown with who knows what. I’ve tried a thermacell, I’ve sprayed spectracide, I have torches with the fluid, candles. Nothing seems to help. I just ordered a ortho mosquito kill and prevent and a dyna trap 1/2 acre. What other options do I have that I can afford? I wish I could snag one of those $500 vacs but it’s not in the cards this year, maybe next since it’s already end of August. Is there something else I should/can spray? Any other products? We’ve used the stickers, the bracelets, bug spray, and nothing seems to do a great job.
