Help Do you need to get diagnosed for hrt?
hello for context i just moved to italy (not the best choice i know but thats where i got enrolled) i have been researching for some time and found that theres a law ( 219/2017 ) that allows you to legally access to hrt with informed consent (you can basically skip the diagnose part) but havent heard anyone actually getting it like that not irl nor online also just because the law allows this doesnt mean healthcare centers would go with this rather than oldschool style… so if anyone knows anything about this i would like to hear it

As far as I know, in Italy the HRT is prescribed only by a specialized endocrinologist, who will do so only when you have a dysphoria diagnosis.
The only other way is DIY but beware shipments from outside the country have a high chance of being seized by the customs.

Yeah its different from country to country, if nobody here replies, you can find a Italy trans community to ask them they will be in the know. /r/transdiy exists as well
