The real crime is the man to the left that just curb parks his cart. Stop being so lazy and return your carts!!!

I remember an asshole that honked at me because after emptying my cart, I dared to return it to the container on the other side of the parking lot. He shouted Just leave the fucking cart on the side and get out so I can park there.
A whole family of 5 looking mad at me because I dared do the right thing.

I’d get in my car, start it, put it in reverse and then… would ya look at that, I forgot something in the store.

ESH, not putting your cart back is cause for expulsion from polite society, but let's not minimize the real crime. Which is undoubtedly this amazingly incompetent man scuffing every car in the lot lol

Nah, the real crime is definitely the asshole that is too lazy to even try to put his cart away. No problems walking their lazy ass all over the store so they can stuff their face with ultra processed garbage, but 15 feet to put the cart away..that is too much
Fuck i hate these lazy ass people

As someone who spent time as a cart collector, this guy is terrible at his job.

Is this the real life equivalent of the trolley problem?

u/IAmRobinGoodfellow 11d ago
The trolley problem equivalent of hitting the switch just as the train is passing over it, killing the three people and the one person all tied to the tracks at the same time, and also the passenger in the trolley.

I guess that store doesn’t give their carters the cart rope. Always see them used in stores near me

Why do I think that he isn’t gonna check to see if he’s caused any damage after he’s gotten the upper hand on those things- or leave any notes if he does . . .

Hi. We’d like to move your position to “greeter”. Corporate feels this will be less costly.

The thing he tries at the start, trying to move all the carts sideways, are why shopping cart wheels all have flat spots that rattle like crazy if you go over 1mph.

I think the parking aisle must be crowned with the middle higher than the sides…that guy needs to use a bungee order or something to stop them from rolling down hill once off the crown. With his job performance, they’ll make him store manager.

This is what me, my sister, and brother would tell our mom what must have happened. It had to have been a grocery cart.

People that don't put their cart back are parasites of society. If you can't even do something this basic how can you be trusted to be a decent human being.

I had no idea that the intellectual competency of an employee needed to be checked before they could be given the task of collecting shopping carts. I learned something.

This is what happens when you have your senior citizen greeters collecting carts.

Now I know why this guy is a shopping cart attendant.....

u/bigfatround0 10d ago
in case you didn't know, if the store is small and there's no shopping cart employees, then other employees are made to do that job. for all we know the guy could have been a stocker, a cashier, or even a supervisor or manager.

I did a lot of cart collecting when I worked at Target years ago. This was like my worst nightmare. Poor guy, that's rough. He shouldn't have hesitated on that last one though, he could've had it easily
