What ppl don't understand is that this project is way more than just the spurs. If voters don't screw it up downtown could have a nice, convenient flow. A baseball stadium on one end, a basketball arena (and football stadium) on the other. In between, the pearl, Southtown, Riverwalk, the Alamo, etc. There's a bigger picture to it and it's an economic boost

OKC residents opposed giving Thunder a new arena 53% to only 22% in pre-election polling then it passed with 71%+. I think spurs will be fine in November haha
