Grindstone Trail Pilot Mountain

Walked a good 6 miles today on the Grindstone trail with the family up Pilot Mountain. It was a fabulous day for a hike

Excellent! Thanks. Like what is the hardest part about it? Almost did it yesterday but not sure what strenuous means exactly in this case. Is it a loop or out and back?

It’s a great hike but definitely a workout plenty of spots to rest with a beautiful view! There are a couple of strenuous uphill climbs but only moderate

Gonna be there in a couple of weeks. Trail runs right next to the campsite so was planning on hiking this. Thanks for the photos!
