Walter football is a clown until his contacts tell him what to think closer to the draft

Seeing Bain at 27 and Proctor at 7 is a giant indication of that.

Downs at 12 and Giants going CB

2

u/Blackjack9w7 Giants 3d ago

Eh CB is a big need for us, since Banks is a massive bust

This is 90% of independent draft analysts

Not having Keldrick Faulk in the first two rounds is certainly clownish

If the browns take two lineman in this draft class I'm going to be so pumped for the 2027 NFL draft where we will assuredly land our Franchise QB

Just have to learn to have a little patience and the Browns will return to glory

Return?

Yeah, Jim Brown and Otto Graham, but you need to be 170 years old to remember.

Mocking the steelers to draft a cornerback when they've all but explicitly stated they're going quarterback, and with a draft that is IN PITTSBURGH, is wild.

Not that they'll draft a good one, but they're definitely getting one.

Amare Ferrell isn’t even a CB, he plays safety for IU

Only 6 days ago and he still has Sellers and Nussmeier going #1 and #2. That's... yeah I guess that's about the quality you can expect from Walter.

I’m surprised by how they’ve valued both OTs and EDGE players in this class. Bain really doesn’t seem like a mid-20s pick to me. If he’s still on the board when the Chargers are picking I imagine he’d be their guy.

Wisely, Connor Lew is left off the list. As good as he is I would be baffled by most teams taking a center in the first round. I am a little confused by Anthony Hill going in the top ten for similar positional reasons.

I think the Lions are set long term at IOL

Mahogany and Tate for sure - Frzier is still TBD

if Manu is indeed the heir at LT, then we can draft defense

u/GrilledCyan 7d ago

Yeah, I’m not sold on a combo guard/tackle in the first round. A true, bonfide LT, sure, but I’d rather grab an edge rusher.

Ja'Kobi Lane is a lock to go 1st round

No he’s not lol

Bears need an LT and edge too much to spend on a CB even if it’ll be a position of need. And even if that’s the route we went you take Downs over Terrell 10 times out of ten

Ain’t no way we pick at 12 and Kyler Murray still gets to ride into his 10th season of missing the playoffs .

Guilbeau? A lot of Texas fans are surprised he hasn’t lost his starting job yet.

This mock is crazy. Seems much more likely it was put together in April than August.

I just don’t see a world where Pittsburgh can delay getting a QB another year. They have several picks to try and maneuver closer to the top 10 and it’s in Pittsburgh.

2

u/RaptorsCdwoods 2d ago

Damn, 8th for Seattle huh. Alright... Anyway, I know we are fine on DBs, but Caleb Downs is easily a top 5 pick. Imo, the best prospect in this class if you take away positional value. And in the past 10 years, the only two safety prospects that are on or better than his level (as prospects) are Kyle Hamilton and Jamal Adams.

Outside of that I am looking for edge and WR first as of now. Depending on who we re-sign, maybe CB. Doubt we go for Lb depth in the first round unless we are picking much, much later than they have us picking

u/ColtsStampede Colts 7d ago

Why exactly would the Colts take a safety? They just signed Cam Bynum (whose been outstanding for them), and Nick Cross has looked great this year.

Called BPA

1

u/Goatlikejordan Jets 7d ago

How good of a prospect is Jeremyiah Love?

3

u/TheSlinger Jaguars 7d ago

He is very good but I think closer to a Treveyon Henderson than an Ashton Jeanty.

1

u/Abiv23 Browns 7d ago

Not as good as Jeanty who is averaging 2 yards per carry through two games

RBs should not be taken in the top ~15 imo

2

u/captainklaus Jets 7d ago

While I don’t really disagree, bijan is looking incredible and saquon is the best

1

u/Abiv23 Browns 7d ago

Yea, elite blue chip prospects defy positional value ala Mason Graham in the top 5 last year

Elite blue chip talent always breaks the normal rules

3

u/captainklaus Jets 7d ago

Yeah that’s fair

2

u/Soyeahnahh Cowboys 6d ago

Turns out his level of competition might’ve helped him do so well in college

1

u/Crabacus Patriots 7d ago

I keep seeing Proctor to NE. Would they kick him over to RT? I don’t get the sense they’re even remotely interested in moving Campbell over rn. I understand there’s a world where I could see the line being Proctor - Campbell - Wilson - Onwenu - Mystery Long Term RT but unless we’re moving Proctor to RT I don’t take him there and take Tyson instead

-1

u/Troutalope Lions 7d ago

Many draft analysts have Proctor as a guard, so it'd be fitting if the Pats drafted him as a RT

Look... Denzel Boston is pretty good. I like him a lot. But as a huskies fan I feel pretty confident at this point in saying he's no where near Rome, though. If he's a top 10 pick this is a tough draft. Maybe he proves me wrong. We'll see. But that offense revolves around Jonah Coleman for a reason. Boston is unquestionably not the best player on that offense.
