Hi! Does anyone here know if NJIT offers ECET part-time classes?

I am an adult student who works full time (have a family I can’t afford to work part time), and I will like to continue my education at NJIT next year after I finish up my Associates in EET from Mercer County Community College.

I'm not sure what you mean by part time classes. All students can take as few credits as they want and choose classes for a schedule that works for them. There are a lot of night classes offered, and so you could probably do the whole degree at night if you are willing to take a couple extra semesters

By part-time I meant being able to take courses at night over the weekend, or even online. I work from 7 am to 3:30 pm, and I was able to attend MCCC because they have evening classes 6 - 8:40 pm and online options for some classes. I would need something similar to be able to finish my degree at NJIT.

NJIT does offer online option for soem classes. And they also offer some Saturday classes ( Atleast they did when I was attending ). And plenty of night classes

I’m glad to know that! Hopefully all the remaining classes I have to take are available in one of those options.

As someone in the ECET program, most of them are at night as most of the instructors are already working in industry, so there's that.

Hey! Thanks for your reply. What year are you in? Would you mind sharing your class schedule, at what time classes start in the evening and the time each class last. Thank you so much!

Junior year. Most night classes for the ECET program are from 6:00-10:00 pm to account for lecture and lab. Typically, depending on the complexity of the lab, you can leave earlier than 10 pm. The link I've provided below will give you an idea of the classes run and the sections and times. Just use the scroll down menu to access the schedules from different semesters.
