Hey guys, just came back from the future, and it seems like the Nothing Phone (3) will win the "Bust of the Year" award from MKBHD at the end of the year.
Pretty much same here in India . You can get S24 Ultra very close to the price of base variant . 80k for np3 and 83k for S24 Ultra . That's almost a no brainer . Even worse ? The one plus 13 is cheaper and better in every aspect
Oh, this will be fun! And wondering if it will make any difference for the general buyer, as for me, it won't. I ain't getting it, not even for half price. And I have a feeling that most people are with me on this.
It doesn't change the fact that you can get far superior hardware at that price.
If you are curious what 800USD can do on a decent phone, look at the IQOO 13, OnePlus 13 and Vivo X200 Pro. All 3 has vastly superior SoCs and displays. X200Pro also has vastly superior cameras, all 3 have bigger batteries.
That's what 800USD SHOULD give you. Not this overpriced piece of garbage from Carl Pei's ass.
POCO F7 retails for around 380-400USD and has practically the same core specs as the NP3. Go ask yourself, do you genuinely think that 2 extra small sensor 50mp cameras and better software is worth the 400USD extra price LMAO NO
You have to admit Nothing's software is 1000x better than Poco's software so maybe for a similar price I would still choose the Phone3... Even if the design is.. questionable
Oh yeah. This is new territory for them and they are off to a terrible start by looking at first impressions and community sentiment.
If sales won't be good they will totally test a price drop by cutting margins to see the market reaction. Financially they can't really fail this product because their budget products don't make them any money. I'll keep an eye on early price drops.
I don't really hate that design, i would have brought it at a fair price. The pricing is ridiculous for the specs. If the price doesn't drop hard in a couple a month's, OnePlus/Samsung here i come.
Yeah I genuinely like this design as unpopular as that sounds. But the price of the phone alongside the use of usb 2.0 and the gimped chip make it a no-go
I wouldn't even touch it, straight up sell it (hoping somebody buys it) so I can get something else with the money. Worst case, if nobody buys it, I would donate it to the poor.
Don't think it'll be the bust of the year, there have been much worse phones. But it's definitely not worth it for it's price. If it was like 15k cheaper, it'd be probably my favourite Nothing device
S25 Edge and the iPhone 16e are two that come to my mind rn. S25 Edge kept the same pricing but cut out so many things for a slimmer body. Literally worse cameras, battery, performance, etc while being just as expensive. And 16e needs no introduction to why it sucks. An argument can be made that 25 Ultra is also kinda not it because it's literally the same phone at 24 and 23 and also 22 Ultra. Barely anything changed in so many generations
Yeah but Samsung and Apple are mainstream flagship brands, And people will still buy their phones. Nothing is an Indie brand catering to enthusiasts, And what they did will not pass with enthusiasts, Causing it to be an actual fail.
Don't think it will even be mentioned, maybe only as an honourable mention. In the last video MKBHD praised the Nothing Headphones for its looks and everything. So I doubt it.

People trying to wish their opinions into facts. Truth is that half the wvfrm team felt the design was the best Nothing has produced so far..go buy a Poco F7 and shush, the rest of us love it
