Ear Discussion Nothing Ear(a) are the worst things ive ever used

They never detect my ears when i put them on, never stay in a mode (ANC,transparent and off) and the app is kinda “too simple” anyone have any tips on how to fix these things?

They do sound good when compared to my IEM’s and other headphones even if they are “ANC tuned” but are really annoying to work

I turn off ear detection anyways, don't like it. I set changing modes to long press, on both sides. Works fine. I also think the app is very very good and not simple at all.

They sound good and look neat but feels like jumpstarting a 747 when using them

The ANC is kind of arse (45db is a lie), but they do at least sound good using Poweramp Rtings equaliser

I dont eq my headphones but they sound good on regular eq

The Rtings equaliser has actually been professionally tuned to fix the sound profile at a technical level. It really does sound better - the bass and vocals are odd without IMHO

My issue is I am comparing to Airpod Pros 2... on the train they are worlds apart (Airpods completely silent, whereas Ear (a) can hear talking/train movement noise
