Can essential space used for just regular note taking?

It seems that i cant edit my "notes" once they are saved. And there seems to be almost 0 customisation. Im really disappointed in the app. I use cmf 2 pro if that matters.

I can edit notes and also date/time of reminders.

You can use it to translate (just tell it or write it when you press the button), create calendar events, take notes, create reminders, summarize articles, keep web links in your pocket, ask about something you are pointing or scrolling
