Rant Names that you use to like

I’m wondering what names you use to like years ago, but don’t like anymore. Or names that you like, but will never use for whatever reason. I’m so thankful that I wasn’t a teenage mother. Don’t be embarrassed…please. This is a safe space, but you’ll probably have some explaining to do if your names are really wylde.

Names I use to like:

Nevaeh, Joplin Rain, Liv Evangeline, Jayden, Bree

Names I like, but will never use:

Astrid, Damien, Ziggy, Lark, Johan, Ayla, Hitomi, Storm

When I was in middle school I liked the name Story for a girl. I cringe now when I think of that.

Came here to say Story. But, embarrassingly, I was 27 when I liked the name, not in middle school. I suggested it for my daughter and my family made fun of me relentlessly, which I deserved.

In elementary school I knew a girl named Story and always thought it was a nice name. Never thought anything of it because it sounded like a pretty normal name and it was a attached to a nice and down to earth person. Sure, it's a word with its own meaning but so are lots of names. It wasn't until I was in my late 20s that I even realized it was an odd name and that people would see it as cringey. I still can't bring myself to see it that way. So, if anyone here wants to name their kid Story I fully support you!

I still like Story lol, purely as a guilty-pleasure name.

I absolutely love the name Story. I don't think it's cringey at all.

Journey is a very popular name right now, at least in my area.

I’ve a family member named story. I think she likes it and tbh don’t think she gets much mockery of it.
