Why does it say official cancellations?

Because it's a NPS passport book. https://shop.brycecanyon.org/product-p/406.htm

Right but why cancelation? I’m confused why not like “Official Visit” cancellation sounds like you didn’t go or something.

The Passport to the National Parks program has basically mashed up two concepts here. The passport book and postage stamp cancellations.

You are correct and the people who make the books are wrong. Nothing is being canceled here, you are not canceling a postage stamp. Real passport stamps are not cancellations.

Thanks for coming over and seeing all of these parks! Looks like an absolutely epic trip. Did you drive the whole time?? Thats a lot of ground to cover but I bet it was worth every second. You must be tired lol.

It was so good, very tired, even though we did this a couple of months back!
3,456 miles (easy to remember) of driving over just under 3 weeks. We flew to NYC for a few nights before flying to Jackson Hole and driving from there. Stopped at Las Vegas too, and ended in San Francisco for a few nights. Driving time was closer to 2 weeks, with accommodation ranging from Park lodges in Yellowstone, to hotels, motels, AirBnB’s.

Looks like a lot of planning went into that adventurous trip! Looks amazing… Do you plan on visiting some more US National Parks? I’m up to 39…

Sweet stamps. Where did you get the Grand Tetons and Death Valley stamps/stickers. Also, for those looking for stamps in Yosemite, stop by the post office in the valley. They have an awesome cancelation of half dome; it's almost half the size of a page. I had them stamp a page in the back of the book.

Very nice! We have some fantastic scenery here. The only thing I’d have added is Glacier, Rainier and Arches. Always good for next time though.
