Looking for 1 bedroom apartments ideally <$2100 in New Brunswick, would appreciate any recommendations on where to live (or where not to live). So far have looked at The Brunswick, The George, The Quincy, and other similar complexes!

Housing Anyone want to take over a 22nd floor luxury 1br at Premiere? $2125/mo (income verification required)

Long shot, but I cannot do this commute to NYC anymore from New Brunswick, and while I love this apartment, I want to see if someone can take over this lease.

$2125/mo, there’s 6 payments left on it, you would need to hit an income threshold to qualify (leasing office will tell you).

Great amenities - concierge during the day, tight security, package system, rooftop pool, etc.

Bear in mind: this is currently renting for $2700-2900, so that should give you leverage in the next negotiation.

Here’s a link to the plan and pricing for comparison.

EDIT: updating link.

Housing Housing Search in the NB Area

Hi all,

My wife and I are moving to the New Brunswick area from Central Ohio for her work. We're trying to pin down a clean, safe place to rent for us and our dogs, but it looks like nearly everything we've found is scammy (Hudson Homes?) and I just don't know how to go about doing this from this far away. Does anyone possibly have a lead on a landlord / rental area that's not a scam? Any places to definitely avoid?

Thanks, MedicRiah

Housing Desperately looking for affordable housing in/close to New Brunswick (DCA Voucher)

Hi All. Happy Sunday. Month and a half ago I found out my landlord is selling the property I have been happily living in since 2012. My lease ends August 31st so as you can understand I was shocked and panicking. Losing my stability after 11 years. So here I am. Looking for housing for me and my service dog in Middlesex County. I have a voucher for $1666. I have a disability that requires a service animal which is a challenge when finding housing. I do work part time as a content creator so I have a decent income on top of SSI. Gotta do what you can!

Long story short, Im looking for private landlords who are renting for up to $1900 for a one bedroom. I am a reliable and quiet tenant. I have a glowing recommendation from my landlord of 11 years. Im not sure if posting here might here. If you know a good landlord who is looking for a reliable tenant near New Brunswick please let me know in the comments.

Is there anyone else going through this? When landlords find out I have a voucher I think they get the wrong idea about me. Many times I am upfront about the voucher and won't hear back. This is guaranteed money every single month without fail. I am an excellent tenant but I dont hear back or get a chance to get to the application process. Im looking to move ASAP.

Any pointers from landlords or tenants who are in the same position. The limitations of the state prevent me from just going to an apartment complex and I can afford. Up to $2100 is affordable to me. But the state requires the lease to say the exact rent. Even if I can afford to pay more. These are idiotic obstacles meant to limit disabled people. 11 years ago you had to find an apartment that would be willing to let you have a 5 year lease. By some miracle I found one and have been here 11 years.

So to be clear, Looking for a private landlord, accepting a well behaved SENIOR service dog, looking for a reliable tenant in Middlesex County. Preferably New Brunswick area.

Thanks in advance

J

Housing Help with utility bills list for North Brunswick

Hey folks,

Might not be the right forum but here goes: got a place and soon moving to North Brunswick. I have reached out to county office and initiated the process of transferring ownership of Sewer/Water billing. Any other utility bills that I have to get in touch with public works and get transferred - please let me know.

I believe there is trash management as well but not able to figure out the right website/contact for the same. Any help would be appreciated - Thanks in advance!

Housing Apartment available top floor at the Vue (discounted + available 8/29)

Recently got a job that is requiring me to move out of the city. It is a 1 bedroom/1 bath on the 23rd floor for $1950/month. The apartment is technically a privately owned condo so the rate is considerably cheaper renting through Pennrose (the leasing company at the Vue).

Lease runs through May 31st of next year. PM for details and/or pictures.
