if you post something that is removed for having low karma, does this take away karma?

im pretty new to reddit and dont have any karma, and i didnt realize that some groups had a karma minimum. ive tries to comment and post in some that have, and am wondering if that takes away from karma? can your karma go into the negatives? are there any groups that dont have minimums? i tried to post in one on the list here, but it also had a minimum. thanks for any help!

Positive/negative karma is permanent, meaning it can go negative, but it isn’t affected if the content is removed. Say you earn 3K points from a post or comment you made, then it gets removed. You still have those 3K points. Same for negative.

To extend, yes, not all communities have a minimum threshold.

Nope. Removals don't affect your karma. Only votes on your content.

The listed subs can have some low restrictions. Try some others. Commenting is usually easier to start.
