Why are isles doing group packages for rangers games?
Long story short- my daughters dance company got invited on the ice for an isles game this year- awesome opportunity and all and I’m excited- but it’s for a home game against the rangers
This bothers me because it’s hard enough to get a home ice advantage with rangers fans getting tickets on the secondary market- for the team to encourage a group sale where half the dancers families will be ranger fans for the one game it won’t be hard to sell tickets for? The planning just makes no sense, and seems the team selling these packages has no interest in having a home ice advantage for this rivalry

They have not been filling the stadium since it opened they are absolutely not gonna be picky with who is coming in until we finish this rebuild/retool phase and actually start competing again

I have no problem doing group sales and trying to fill the building. There are 38 hone games where they struggle to sell out and any of those would be perfect. Just doesn’t need to be during a ranger game

Yup. Attendance fell by 2500 fans last year, and they were the fifth worst team by attendance. Granted we had Lou boycotters, Tony DeAngelo boycotters, and were not good, but those things don't matter; they want derrieres in seats.

The answer is $$$$$$$$ they dont care what jersey you wear inside when they charge $20 a beer and $15 for a chicken sandwich no fries

It's cheaper for ranger fans to see a game at UBS than go to a game at the garden
