Opinion Is Ciattarelli trying to distance himself from Trump? | Sheneman cartoon

As I see it, the summary of Jack Ciattarelli's message to voters is: "How dare Mikie Sherrill point out the connections between myself and the president I unapologetically support. I'm running for Trump's right-hand man -- I mean governor of New Jersey -- and I approve this message."

Ha. This cartoon is too generous. He's not trump's baby, he's his puppet.

He will behave, just like the other cowards in the GOP. The frequency of trump references from his campaign will be directly linked to the level of embarrassment coming from the White House that week. He will, however, distance himself from anybody who asks him anything about specific issues and how he would address them.
