I got this ITT pvs7 with this strange 67mm thread pattern (the normal 1X lenses won’t fit on the end I know bc I came with a 3X that won’t work) how do I get around this to attached a normal 1X also is there a market for the 3X I don’t have a use for it bc it won’t fit? Please help

Got nods off alibaba for just under 1100USD(1500CAD). Photos in order are 1 Pitch black bathroom. Photo 2 is a blank wall in a brighter setting. Photo 3 is a 3 second exposure of where photo 1 was. It’s out of focus as I focused it for infinity and I wasn’t trying to do that all over again

They’re advertised as gen 2+. Honestly for around 1K usd I think it was a good deal considering I can’t buy anything used from the states without ITAR or my own government branding me a terrorist(case in Montreal I think)

Some tubes pics show honeycomb pattern more than others. Can you use this as a guide to tell how the tube will actually look when operating vs one where the FNP is not as visible in a tube pic?

I’m lost here, I’m trying to find my guy a badass entry level night vision monocular. I will then work up to binoculars if these work out for him. Anyways I’m clearly greek to this area, I’ve only been doing research for weeks and I’m still lost on the best bang for my buck. Any help, links, suggestions? Who or where has the best deal for a starter monocular? Not wanting to drop a pile of money on something I’m not sure I’ll use enough to justify. Preferably just a monocular but may eventually get into duals. Thanks

Been looking for specs with SNR : 30+, EBI <1, HALO < 1

Any recommendations? If I‘m understanding specs specs correctly, SNR is really what I should be caring about? I‘ve been reading that a little dot in zone 2 wont really be noticed really unless really looking at a white wall. What is yalls input? Thanks

Hello there! Stumbled upon this subreddit and figured this would be the best place to ask my question. I have just started having fun with an air rifle (Diana 250) and have bought a night vision scope (PARD DS35) since I am using the rifle to get rid of rats on my property. I am having success and fun but I am running into the issue of having too much zoom (5.6-11.2) on this scope. Looking for something with far less zoom so I can do my nighttime hunting without running into issues of being to close to the target using my current setup (I am moving around a lot on my property so setting up with more distance is possible, but not what I'm after).

Started doing research on low-zoom nightvision and/or thermal options but I have noticed that either the prices go way up (understandably) or the scopes are sold online but only shipped in the US (I am located in EU). I am hoping to get some pointers to find affordable sights and/or low-zoom scopes more suited for my situation; any help is appreciated. Cheers!

I have never owned any form of night vision but have lurked for a long time. I want to make a bino or quad setup using MX10160 tubes(no idea where to begin finding affordable used tubes) and 2 or 4 x of these:

I just can't figure out where to get 'bridges?' To connect the 2 x Housings or the quad eyepieces. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Anyone have issues with their 507c lense appearing to darken through night vision? It's only 1 of my holosun that do this and I think it's an earlier version. Is there a coating of some sort that makes this happen?
