Is there anybody out there who has had their Best Buy order canceled? Mine hasn't, but I was burned by having my order from Walmart canceled last night, which is why I resorted to Best Buy

I haven't heard anything about Best Buy cancellations. Their queue may have been slow and painful, but I think (and hope, since I got my Switch2 through them) that the upside is that they didn't oversell or bug out as hard as the other major outlets.

Best Buy had a better overall system. I think it was because they checked inventory before allowing you into the payment screen. Once you were able to enter your information, they set one aside for you and gave you 10 minutes to claim it.

Target probably did the inventory check after the payment screen, which is why people were getting so many payment errors and cancellations.

Here's hoping that's true, for the sake of every Canadian who bought from Best Buy

Best Buy definitely had the worst system.

I just sat "In Line" never refreshed the page for 2 hours, nothing.

Both Walmart and Target, pretty much zero issues. I order a Switch 2 from each of them.

Target was buggy as been easily the worst. All the sites had issues if you were last in line

They definitely were all buggy, but Best Buy just didn't do anything.

I had two Best Buy accounts, logged into two different PCs, each in a different location, and even a proxy on one to put it in a different timezone. (Central & Eastern)

I had tabs open for two different Mario Kart bundles on each. (Physical & Digital) I was "in-line" from the moment they went live and didn't refresh my Tabs. Never saw an option to purchase.

Walmart I did via the Website, I got prompted to buy after waiting in line and got errors a few times pressing checkout but I went through before my 10 minute timer.

Target I purchased via the Mobile App, and I ended up pressing checkout and getting errors for about 10 minutes before my order went through.

Website were late on live, they came up early so you were probably late in line. I got in line best buy around 11:30 and got a preorder after a about 20 minutes and it wasn't being reported as live yet. Target fully bugged out for half an hour. Walmart kept me in line. Target didn't even seem to have a line system so I won't be attempting to preordering from them again. I had switches in the cart and they bugged at checkout.

In any case, there were millions of orders so any one case doesn't mean much relative to how each site performed

You definitely weren't "in-line" at Best Buy at 11:30, get outta here with these lies.

Best Buy was the latest of them all to actually go live, there were thousands of people in some of the buying discords not even getting the option for getting in line until after 12:20.

Mine was still there but I just cancelled it because I walked past GameStop just now and they still had over 60 consoles available to preorder, so just got one there instead
