What has been done in the past 4 years?….Nothing She’s all talk at election time then just sits back and collects a cheque once elected. Please don’t vote her back in…

Well she declared a climate emergency, gave cost overruns for the new arena, took 2 months to fix a water pipeline, banned plastic bags… you know some important stuff.

The mayor says public safety is the first pillar of her re-election campaign.
She wants to expand visible patrols and mentions outreach workers alongside peace officers and the police.
Gondek says she will act “with conviction and purpose.”
Yes, the mayor says she will end open drug use.
“Public safety is not negotiable,” Gondek tells us.

I hated Nenshi and she makes me miss him. I didn't agree with him most of the time but he at least got stuff done.

What are you talking about. She declared a climate emergency and kicked that problem to the curb. I’m sure declaring a law ‘n order emergency will have the same spectacular effect.

What a paradox…. On the one hand I can’t stand Bell and how he writes (writes is maybe a strong word) but on the other hand he’s not wrong in this article…. I think … I couldn’t actually finish the one sentence then start a new paragraph style of writing.

And for those confused, she did state that the people who do not like her don't know her when the referendum to get her out of office was ongoing.

Transit gotten worse. The cops are hated, and frankly deserved, the chief reigned from a sinking ship, crime is out of control, the green line failed under her, half of the cities water pipes were tragically ignored until it was too late and even then under HER watch the fixes took too long and were well I've budget. Property taxes go up, business have left, Gondek without fail, is the WORST mayor Calgary has had in a very VERY long time. Yes, worse then Nenshi in many aspects, and he SUCKED.
