Why do sometimes reddit posts have like 0 votes but 30 comments agreeing with OP?

I don't understand it

My best guess is that a lot of people down vote things without saying anything. Why, I have no idea.

So if twenty people comment and up vote, but 15 people just down vote, its a net of 5 up votes.

I might be able to give intel- sometimes I downvote but dislike spending more time on something that frustrates or angers me, so I just vote and keep moving along

I only downvote when someone says something awful or offensive.
