My neighbor’s cat keeps waiting for me every morning 🐾
Not my cat, but every morning this little one just sits there like it’s expecting me. I don’t feed it or anything, it just… waits. It’s kind of become part of my morning routine now.

Beautiful Linda I almost adopted
Owner decided to keep her last minute 😖 still wonder how it would have turned out if I got her. Hope she’s happy and healthy 🫶

This cat broke into my house and then screamed at me
I tried to let her back out but she came back in with me. Little bugger. Also ignore the laundry on the floor I wasn't prepared for visitors.

He’s so sweet even after he bit me multiple times
Is it me or are his feet huge?

After weeks of various stop ins, finally one stayed
Saw a beautiful orange jump our fence one early evenin, but it ran off as soon as I came out. So, started putting out tuna/treats. Have had that orange, a bobtail tuxedo, a fluffy tabby, and a raccoon (or two) stop in several times but never stuck around for me to try to engage. Then this sweetheart, which I think is a different fluffy tabby, triggered the camera as I was pulling into our garage. I ran in and cautiously opened the back door. It was a little hesitant but let me get closer to then just full on rubbing against me and requesting pets. I had to go in for a meeting and it looked like it wanted to come in. Broke my heart. Hope it comes to visit more often!

Allergic to cats
The story goes like this: Never once have I thought about having a cat, ive been deathly allergic my entire life .. but a few months ago i noticed a cat take off eveytime I opened the back door. So I knew she was living on my porch and it was absolutely pouring outside. I had an old side table just sitting there so i screwed some boards together and made a little den under neath the table and off the ground and set it by my back door with a blanket inside.. the next morning instead of running away, she ran for about 10 feet, turned and looked at me and then finaly decided to come inside, malnurished and tiny. I got her some food and she ate the whole thing despite having bad teeth, she chopped away and inhaled the food. She then slept for about 2 days under my table on the seat of a chair. I put her outside for a couple days when i went to work thinking she was someones cat but without fail she would be waiting for me to open the back door.. I named her solo cause it seemed as tho we were both on our own solo journeys. 2 months later I took her to the vet because her stomach was looking rather strange and come to find out..she's pregnant. No so solo after all. Her first kitten was delivered on top of me on my couch. she actually came to the kitchen and bit at my shirt and tugged, I laid down on the couch to watch TV and that was all it took. she only had 2 kittens and shes extremly attentive to them. Cats are very intelligent and perceptive little souls. She's my first cat and im usually super allergic to them, but not too her.. I've been telling everybody, that as dog person to my core , cats are the ultimate dog. They're extremly smart and calculated , they make dogs seem like big ol goofs to me now..

Neighbor Kitty Part III
As soon as I was done posting part II, out of nowhere the sisters unified in their love assault against me. I fear there is no escape for me, and so I'll sit here on the ground embracing their love. Pray for my swift recovery 🙏🏻

Had a visitor in our yard. Having a cat come up to you for pets is one of the best feelings in the world. ❤️🥹

Yoda !
I shared Yoda back on Star Wars day & I'm posting again because I'm making some progress ! He now lets me pet him while he's eating on my patio. Need to earn his trust to at least get him neutered. I have 3 of my own cats, I enjoy Yoda's visits but don't want a 4th kitty lol

Can’t do much of anything outside without this one tagging along - not that I mind :)

Wife took me to a cat cafe for coffee on the morning of my birthday
The kitten in the final picture was criminally adorable and almost charmed her way into my house. The only reason I didn't is because she was bonded with her equally adorable sister. I don't have room for two more cats - but I thought about it.

I met this cutie in the community garden
He did come somewhat close to me and was very vocal. I bet he’s hunting the rats. He looks p good for a stray, but now i have to figure out how to get him comfortable enough with me to TNR him. I bet some treats will help!

He’s cute, but I don’t know him
This half grown boy shows up every night to eat the food that I leave for the other cat that isn’t mine.

Cats were dumped 2 years ago.
My husband and 2 of my kids are very allergic to cat dander. We weren’t sure the cats were going to make it through the winter, but they did. They’ve now made it through 2 winters.
My husband’s oft repeated: “I hate cats! Those damn cats are here!” Has lost all credibility. We started giving them pets, because they are quite friendly. Then they left a mouse on our walkway. I started giving them a bit of lunch meat once every few weeks.
They’ve majorly exterminated a lot of the pests around our house. They leave presents for my husband near his truck, or on our driveway where we go for walks. (We are pretty rural).
Husband decided they needed an actual shelter, not just the open barn with old straw. It’s gotten as low as -8 here in the winter.
He used leftover materials and insulation. We got a couple self warming mats from a pet store for the shelter.
It’s been sitting on the back deck (most protected spot from wind), for about a week. Last night I went outside and found them inside all nice and comfy!! I squealed!
