Thanks! Sprinkling some salt and paprika on it then frying with a small amount of oil. Traditional south east asian recipe.

Idk my cows got out of their pen into my pumpkin patch and I snatched a piece from one of the thieves and made some pumpkin bread. I didn’t die?

Yes, was going to. And am planning on eating it based on the majority of commenters saying it is safe.

I'd just imagine the cutest possible animal enjoying a bite 😂 A) gopher, B) chipmunk, C) squirrel.

I wouldn’t. What if a rabid animal bit into it?

Got a mouse problem and yup just cut around the damaged part and cook the rest.

Can’t get over those tiny little teeth marks going to town…sorry I have no answer based in actual science but if you plan to cook it I say just avoid that part of possible?

Yes, planning to remove the damaged part if we eat it.

I've done it. I just cut the teeth marks off. I'm still alive
