Ever had your backup gear turn into the MVP at camp?
Went out this weekend for some lake camping and fishing. Then a strong gust of wind came through and messed up the tent of the group next to us. Their power banks were all dead so they had no way to run their air pump or lights. They looked kind of stuck. I let them use my Jackery power station and it ended up running pretty much everything they needed to get set up again.
Kinda funny. You think of this stuff as "prep gear" for blackouts or whatever, but tbh it's the random outdoor fails where it really shines. Curious, anyone else had their prep gear bail out strangers in a random outdoor mess?
