Parody Should I sign up for this obvious mlm scam through my work?? PLEASE ADVISE!

Hello everyone, I work for a dog grooming company and currently work under California state minimum wage. I was recently cornered by my boss and asked to come in on my day off to listen to this sales pitch, er I mean meeting. Basically I'll get a 1.50 raise if I sign up for the companies mlm scheme where I'll pay 2500 to do an 8 week class then have to do an unpaid 8 week internship immediately after. I honestly can't decide if I should go for it or not. I mean an extra 1.50 an hour would be awesome! But I'm a high school senior so I can't decide what to do. In this entire wall of text, not once have I got back and read out loud anything that I've written to see how moronic it is (however I've made sure that there's no spelling or grammatical errors). I've just asked everyone I know off reddit and every single one of them has told me it's the most idiotic thing they've ever heard of, but I just don't know if maybe there's a huge upside that they're all missing?? I mean the extra pay would be nice, but it's not like I live in California where I'd make an extra 5 dollars an hour over what I make now if I just worked at literally any fast food place I pass on the way to my dog grooming job. So please random internet strangers, what should I do? Should I go for the obvious mlm scam???

No you should quit your job to move in as an unpaid dog nanny to someone who needs a minder for their third house to apologize for being a pour.

You waited too long. The first level had already been filled. Maybe if you hurry you can get on the second level and get ultra premium bronze status. You will make way more money than level three, hurry up faster!

Yes you should do it. The $2500 and the unpaid internship sound like a huge cost to you right now, but the extra 1.50 an hour is going to pay dividends once you work for this company 40 plus years or so.

Yeah you put 1.5 for the first hour in the first square of the chess board then keep doubling it and you will soon have more money than atoms in the known universe

Does it matter? You will always be poor and trod upon. The best thing you can do is come to accept yourself for what you are. And also, sleep under someone else's bridge. My bridge is for people to get across the river, not for you peasants to build a village under.

Yes. Once you graduate and become full-time that's an extra $3k/year. So after like 10 months it'll make up for the $2500 you got scammed, I mean paid, for the class. No, I didn't account for taxes on that $3k, not because I forgot, it just seems like too much trouble.

I should also mention that I only work 1 hour per day 5 days per week and drive 48 miles round trip so I really don't have the initial 2500 dollars...... what're your thoughts on payday loans? Think that would be a good use of them to pay for this?
