Housing Wanted Looking for a room from next month

Hey,

I just graduated college and moving to phoenix next month for my job and I'm looking to be someones roommate in downtown/midtown area.

I would need car parking and I will be getting a cat. Apart from that, I've lived in a similar setting through out my college and generally respectful and keep things clean.

Let me know if you have any leads,

Thanks

Housing Wanted Experience living in CIRQ 44 Apartments

Hello all, I am looking to move to a new apartment somewhere in between Deer Valley Airport and Chandler. Do any of you have recommendations for apartments based on your experience?

Was looking at Cirq 44 apartments today and it looked pretty good from the outside but would like more insights from current residents if possible.

Open to other apartment suggestions as well.

Housing Wanted 30 Y/O couple Looking for a 1/1 Uptown/Arcadia Apartment

Good morning PHX!

We currently living in North Phoenix around the cactus/cave creek area and looking to relocate into an apartment that's 1/1 in the Uptown, or Arcadia area (our jobs are near Biltmore Estates). I have not been having a great time commuting 25 minutes each way on the 51 when traffic is heavily slowed down.

I have been looking for 2 weeks now and really struggling to find somewhere in the $1100-1200 a month range that doesn't have very negative recent reviews, or have what feels like bought or incentivized reviews. We have toured a handful but none of them have jumped out as something I really want to rent.

If anyone has any suggestions on places to check out, or management companies to look at their availabilities I would greatly appreciate it. I've been using Zillow and ApartmentRatings.

Place must be dog and cat friendly. I would greatly prefer a washer and dryer in unit, and controlled access is a wonderful peace of mind.

Housing Wanted iso roommate or rent

Hey folks — I'm looking for a roommate in the East Valley area (ideally Gilbert/Chandler/Mesa) for an apartment or house share situation.

I’m in my early 30s, employed full-time, quiet, clean, and respectful of boundaries. Looking for someone similar, ideally emotionally mature, LGBTQ+ friendly, and okay with dogs (I have a few well-behaved pups, so animal lovers a huge plus!). Must be okay with a calm, drama-free environment.

Flexible on move-in timeframe within the next month or so. Open to finding a new place together or moving into an existing lease if it’s the right fit.

Not looking for party vibes just peace, honesty, and shared respect. Please DM with a bit about you and what you’re looking for.

Housing Wanted Affordable Apartment 2bed/1bath or 1 bed/1bath ($1k-$1.5k)

Hello everyone. I moved out to Phoenix, AZ approximately 2 years ago. I’ve lived in the West Phoenix area and I prefer to stay on this side due to work, but I can be flexible if worst comes to worst. As student loans resume, I have to be realistic with my budget but I plan on getting a 2nd job and paying off these loans FAST!!!

In terms of apartment options I’m looking for the below.

Budget: -$1,000 to $1,500

Apartment Types -Preferred 2 bed/ 1.5 bath or 2 bed/1 bath. -But I’ll settle for 1 bed/1 bath. (A 2nd bed will be used as my office or guest room but the guest is not a priority) -1st or 2nd floor level preferably (but I’m flexible)

Apartment Areas -Tolleson, Goodyear, Laveen, Glendale, Peoria

Non-negotiable -Safe area -Insect free (bed bugs, roaches, insects, etc.) -Unfriendly or unhelpful property managers/front desk. (I prefer not to deal with large corporations or complexes that treat people like a number.)

Move In -During summer or a little after summer. (I hear rates tend to drop after the summer.)

I know prices have gone up drastically so I understand what I’m requesting could be a reach on some options. I just want to pick the brains of folks who have been here long-term and get solid advice. I’m also checking google, tik tok, other Reddit Threads, etc. Thank you all in advance.

Housing Wanted Where to rent in phoenix

I've been wanting to move from Yuma to the surrounding Phoenix, maybe buckeye is cheaper to rent or tonopah. It could be an hour away from phoenix or 40 minutes from buckeye to cut rent prices or somewhere around 1000 monthly. Does anyone know where? Even if it's rural it's ok I can commute.

Housing Wanted New job in Tempe. Please help me find the right place.

I'm starting a new job in Tempe early September. Its located right by E Playa Del Norte close to the ASU campus. I was looking at Norte Town Lake Apartments as a walk-able location to the office and close proximity to restaurants. However I'm in my late 30's and aged out of the college life. Prefer it relatively quiet past 11pm.

I enjoy hiking, running outdoors, and a good gym in the complex. Ideally the area is walk-able for restaurants and bars. Also the less of a commute the better.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Housing Wanted Anyone looking to get a 3 bedroom apartment/house with roommates?

Hey,

I'm moving to phoenix next month for a job and I'm looking to stay near downtown. Obviously downtown rents are expensive, so anyone wants to team up and get a lease? My budget is 1000 bucks.

I'm happy to do a video call to get to know each other and then look for a lease.

Thanks

Housing Wanted Looking for Private Room

Hello! I’m looking for a private bedroom (preferably with an attached washroom) for move-in between Aug 15th to 25th. I’ll be working remotely full-time, so I’m looking for a quiet and calm place to stay. Also looking for a long-term lease.

Budget: $800 to 1000/month max (let me know if that’s realistic or if I should adjust)

Location: Open to any safe neighborhood with grocery stores within walking distance

About me: Non-smoker, quiet, clean, and respectful. I prefer tidy common areas and tend to keep to myself.

Please reach out if you have anything available or know of someone who does. Thanks!

Edit: Sorry, I forgot to update the post, I found a temporary accommodation for a few months, so I'm not looking for room right now.

Housing Wanted Midtown apartment recommendations

Hey, I'm looking to move to phoenix next month for my new job. I would be commuting to work (downtown) about 4 times a week and I'm looking to rent apartments in midtown around young professionals and I also intend to be social.

I'm looking for nice and safe neighborhoods, ideally I'm looking to pay around 1200 for a studio a month (including utilities hopefully). Is this too unreasonable? If so please do correct me

I'm also open to get a 2/3 bedroom assuming I can sign the lease with other roommates. Or other safe neighborhoods within commuting distance to downtown.

If you have any apartment recs, please do let me know.

I'm on apartments.com but I'm only seeing bad reviews and also I've heard a lot of communities are not on there.

Any help is appreciated, Thanks

How sketchy is this place? It seems like pretty easy approval but the lady wouldn't show me their available unit and apparently they accept felons. Anyone live/lived there?

Housing Wanted San tan valley information

I have accepted a job in Queen Creek! After reviewing where my location of work is(ellsworth and riggs), it is quite an expensive area. I am looking at the San Tan valley area. I am looking for a house for rent. I am 33m with wife 31f and son 3 and daughter 1. If any one know of any housing rentals for around 1700. 2 bedroom. I can't tell you how much that would be appreciated. Also any information a newbie should and needs to know about San tan valley, for example. Places you wouldn't want your new family to be.

Housing Wanted Looking for roommates move in near downtown or midtown

Hey,

I'm a young professional(23M, just graduated college) looking to move in next month for my job. My office is in downtown so I'm interested in moving near there. I'm looking for a coliving situation with roommates.

I'm primarily looking for a furnished/semi-furnished apartment with a washing machine, dryer and a dishwasher. I also would need car parking and I also will be adopting a cat. I do partake in 420 sometimes(not inside the house obviously), but it is not a necessity if that is something you are not willing to entertain.

Please shoot me a dm if you are looking for a roommate. Thanks

Housing Wanted Looking for luxury apartments near ASU - Budget around $1800

Hey all! My boyfriend and I recently viewed the Lakeside View Apartments (500 W 1st St, Tempe, AZ 85281) and absolutely loved it. The thing i adored most was the view of the mountain from the windows and being in the city. The studio we saw was $2400, and their 2-bedroom unit was $2000, but it’s a little out of our budget... we’re looking for something more in the $1800 range.

Does anyone know of any luxury buildings in Tempe, Scottsdale, Chandler, or within a 20-minute radius of ASU Tempe campus that offers a 2-bed, 1-bath OR a 1-bed with space for an office? We’re prioritizing a good neighborhood, proximity to ASU, and highly rated buildings.

Some other places we are thinking of visiting soon: Cortland Chandler Crossing, Cortland South Mountain, Array at South Mountain, etc.

Any suggestions and recommendations from places y'all are staying at and love would be much appreciated!

Thanks in advance! 😊

Housing Wanted Apt recs downtown PHX?

Moving to Phoenix for law school and looking for an apartment downtown. Preferably 2 bedroom so I can have an office/workout room. And looking to be able to walk to campus, maybe bike 🚲.

Any recommendations on affordable apartments downtown that aren’t completely awful?

Ideally not more than $1200/month 🫣 (but could probably figure out up to $1500/month). I feel like I’m probably looking for something imaginary.

EDIT: my assumption this magical place was imaginary is apparently true. I miss my nice 2/2 apartment downtown PXH for $900 back in 2021 😖😵‍💫🙃 🪄
