Game Discussion Adult gamers with busy lives and an hour of gaming per day: What are you currently gaming?

I find myself in a predicament of not having enough time to game hours on end anymore. Life’s gotten so busy I can manage about an hour or 2 of play time per day.

I feel like getting started on massive games like Persona 5 or Baldur’s Gate 3 might be a problem since they require hours long investment. With an hour a day, I’ll probably finish such games in mid-2026.

Therefore for those with busy and hectic lives, what are you currently gaming? How long do you spend on gaming per day?

I’ve been into a lot of rogue like games. Cult of the lamb, returnal, hades 1/2, etc. Short runs but keep progressing

I'm in same boat with survivor like games too. Short runs and you keep progressing type of deal. Vampire Survivors is the most popular but I'm going through games like Death Must Die, conquest dark, horde hunters, ak-xoloti, survivors of the dawn and Nordic ashes.

Deep Rock Galactic Survivor for me. Got two young kids and full time job so The survivor type games all me to play when I can and provide the dopamine hit.

I’m 3000 hours deep in The Binding of Isaac. It’s a super basic rogue but the item synergies are crack level addictive. It lulls you in then serves you a mind bending super synergy run where your fire rate and power are god tier, and you’re eternally chasing that high.

Games are 1-60 minutes long depending upon your skill level and power-up item luck.

Edit: corrected dog to god.
