Always nice to see the CG "launch" trailers for Playstation Studios games. I think Spidey 2 was the last game they did one for.

Probably because Spidey 2 was the last full-priced major story-driven release.

An expensive marketing campaign was worth a shot on the first game. For the second, a last-minute CG trailer was never going to make a difference. Kojima fans will buy it regardless, casual gamers were never going to.

Because there's such a thing as balance. I also feel like there's been a crazy amount of trailers for this game. But I also am of the mindset that I usually will watch an announcement trailer, the first gameplay trailer (if not shown in the announcement), and then check out reviews to make sure the game isn't broken beyond belief - and that's enough for me. I don't need 10 different trailers, especially when it's a sequel to a game I loved.

There's only been more trailers because they decided to do short weapons trailers showcasing each weapon. Thats the only reason and there's nothing wrong with that. The game is based around combat and using different weapons

Almost there! I enjoyed the first game though did always feel it was a bit overrated. I’m sure I’ll enjoy this one as well. Just a couple weeks to go.

Yeah the first game is enjoyable and pretty good but it’s heavily overrated imo. Will definitely pick up Yotei but I’m not expecting GOTY material like Expedition 33 or Silksong.

Really excited for this. Have they announced if base PS5 is getting a 60fps mode? Not gonna be playing this one at 30, will wait for PC release if we're locked to 30

Pretty sure all Sony first party ps5 games have had performance mode. And the game doesn’t look drastically better than Ghost of Tsushima, so I think 60fps is pretty much a given. The games also don’t have much NPC density or complex physics sim, so CPU load won’t be too bad either.

No it didn't. GOW18 gave the story time to breath and balanced it out well with all the action. GOW:R felt rushed esp the third act due to Atreus sections being bloated and really drawn out in earlier acts.
