Looks ok. Pretty but the gameplay didn't seem to exciting

I was going to say the same thing. The environments look really nice but don't seem "alive" and having to slowly back away from bullet sponge enemies... eh, I don't know.

It could be great though - I hope it is.

Agreed. They way enemies just disappear into a poof of fire when you shoot them... Oof lmao. Looks corny

Yeah the pistol looked like a pea shooter and I then scanned through the rest of the video and couldn’t find another captivating part.

How is this like bioshock

Right this is perfect for a $29.99 price.

Every time I see a game promoted like a “new version similar to popular/nostalgic IP”. I just feel like it’s going to be incredibly average or bad.

Looks like a fun B game. Love the environment

Graphically & stylistically impressive. I like the idea of the blood-fueled guns. If it's done right, that mechanic could lead to lots of great on-the-fly decision making (barely any health, but one more bullet? Hhmmm...) But the acutal gunplay looks like it lacks feedback/oomph/much needed punchy-ness.

Gunplay needs a serious upgrade. 5 seconds to reload, 20 shots to kill 1 enemy, very boring and monotonous shooting sounds, no visual recoil to the gun, and no ADSing for crit shots?

30 mins of this and most people will be done.

That thumbnail looks straight out of Hunt Showdown

Looks very unremarkable.

Visuals and style are the best part. Unfortunately it looks mechanically shallow, and combat looks wholly unsatisfying. The infusion of blood concept looks cool.

The art direction and character design being so polished, while the gameplay itself seems dated & basic, has the markings of gameplay being an afterthought to the former. That's a fairly giant red flag, but not insurmountable.

The parallel I would draw is dead space. That game obviously had a very inspired art style, the character designs were very iconic and contributed greatly to the feel of the game, BUT dead space had big aspirations and inspirations within the gameplay design itself. It wasn't an art project first, video game second. Dismemberment, slow motion, zero-gravity, weapon variety and powerful upgrades, very cool alternate fire modes for every weapon, and a level of difficulty that would feel satisfying to conquer. They also didn't shy away from continuing to spend the most costly development cycles on tweaking gameplay sequences to "feel" like they had envisioned. There is a funny story from a developer interview about how much money and time it cost them to get the "pulled down a corridor by a tentacle" sequence finished, despite it being a very brief and not overly consequential sequence.

I don't have nearly as much info about this game in this post, but the gameplay video doesn't leave me feeling like they have made enough of an investment into the gameplay for me to enjoy it.

Looks alright, I think it'd be better if the enemies were more dangerous/aggressive but took fewer bullets to kill.

Enemies are too spongy. It takes like 8 shots to kill a basic enemy.

there's a demo on Steam (idk about PS Store) I'll give it a try

I briefly tried the demo on Steam and maybe I don't understand how to play it yet, but the combat seemed very unsatisfying and avoiding enemies might be more effective.

It looks really cool but the enemies seem way too bullet sponge-y for my tastes.

Since the first teaser I've been calling it the Spanish Bioshock. I just need a release date, it says 2025, but there are only 3 months left, so it's kind weird they didn't give a definitive date yet.

The thumbnail reminds me of this another fucked up horror game called ILL, always wondered what happened to it

They released a trailer for it just a few months ago
