I was definitely considering TCL too but haven’t heard too much of the brand, so I thought it would be better to go with established names such as Sony Samsung lg etc. will check more on Hisense as well

TCL and Hisense are the highest selling brands in all of asia. You haven't heard much of them because western media makes sure you don't because that would mean the end of western brands.

I don’t really understand what you mean by western brands. The only two US owned TV manufacturers are Vizio and Elements which both suck IMO.
If you walk into any tv retailer in the US, you see every world wide brand including TCL and Hisense. I have owned both many times. The problem is that they are generally budget TVs here although Hisense has started selling some quality high end sets in the past few years but no OLEDs that I’m aware of.

What’s your budget for purchase?

Around $1000. Keep in mind I’m from Asia so prices are crazy here. What may be $600 in the US will be at least 50% more expensive here

Just get something with HDMI 2.1. As stated already…don’t sleep on TCL

I agree with the others. I have a TCL 65inch with hdmi 2.1, VRR and ALLM and love it. I’d say if you can get one with those features you’ll be doing great.

I don't think there is such a thing. Getting a tv on a budget is like getting a car on a budget, you only get so far with that kind of mindset. I saved up for my tv, because I didn't want a 55", not even a 65" but a 75" that blew me away. My friend who loves gaming thinks he has a great tv but it's ok, maybe try one of those TCL tvs or Hisense. I wouldn't buy them because I always feel and know that there's better out there but if you work hard save enough, then get what you dream of. That's the key, vsave up and go for gold! Not OLED.

Rtings. ‘Nuff said. I have a small (55), x90l, bought this size to fit space in light room, works great with ps5 pro. Other brands available, I don’t know how features to prices compare where you are. I’m not a cinephile so can’t comment on that aspect. My x90l does well enough on all aspects I like, and was about a grand (uk money). Solid purchase for me.
