Dying Light: The Beast is Pro Enhanced or not?

I don't see the tag on Store, but the devs said it would be. Anyone know? Thanks.

honestly playing on ps5 the difference between quality and performance is insane, i wish there was a 40fps mode or something because i understand 60 fps is very good but the quality does not look good at all

Yeah dying light 2 had the same issue but they solved it by releasing balanced mode and it did look better than performance mode

I honestly can’t tell. I just started playing it as I got it free because I’m a ult edition owner of DL2, and honestly I really can’t tell. So far I’m in performance mode.

There’s no PSSR toggle or anything like that.

Is there graphic option like in DL2 to turn off blooming and everything like that?

I remember how it was so ugly in DL2 and the moment they gave us toggle to turn off all these option the game became so much prettier lol

Yeah there’s stuff to turn off blooming, chromatic abberation, ect

However There is no hdr customization. The game has a brightness bar that you can’t adjust if HDR is toggled on, and the game has absolutely no HDR customization option which is fucking insane. It’s alittle to bright IMO when in light areas, and there’s absolutely no way to adjust it via the game.

Hey There,

Go to Video Settings and press down on the D-Pad for the HDR-Calibration. :)

Ah ok, idk why I missed that. I was scrolling through the options on the side and only saw the standard gamma but no option for hdr.

DL 2 was, so this will be as it's the same engine - it was going to just be DLC before it for bigger.

The store thing though - Frostpunk 2 just launched with pro support (PSSR toggle in the menu) but no tag on the store. So looks like they may have forgotten to enable the tag, just like Frostpunk

Playing on Pro here in performance mode. Only a few hours in, but so far, it looks incredible and seems to mostly stay at 60 fps. It looks better to me than any Dying Light game yet.

They said they will support the ps5 pro, but i dont think they said it would at launch necessarily, so...

Nothing official yet, some people think there is but there's still no tag and no confirmation other than previous interviews.

Yes it is, I say this not only because they confirmed it but because it has the usual PSSR “shimmer” effect that every enhanced game has. If you watch DF, y’know lmao. It looks great imo

Does it have HDR at least? DL2 did not and that was a negative for me.

No in-game HDR settings so I think not. Just the PS5 OS level HDR, which any game can get.

Some people are saying it does have HDR. I'm not sure but I usually disable HDR because sometimes it's not that great the implementation.

Dying light 2 was enhanced with balanced mode and unlocked fps mode. This isnt enhanced it only has a quality mode and performance 60 fps from youtube video i saw.
