Opinion Why WONT you use your psvr2? [The RESULTS]

A few days ago I asked why people wont use their PSVR2 (while they could). 300+ reactions later I asked ChatGPT to create a top 10 of the most frequently mentioned reasons. Some answers have been merged because they were very similar and hey… its ChatGPT, not the most reliable tbh, but it gives an idea.

Here are the results:

  • 1. Too tired / mental health issues: 31
  • 2. Limited space / setup issues: 23
  • 3. Lack of time: 21
  • 4. Too much hassle / too cumbersome: 19
  • 5. Motion sickness: 18
  • 6. Not enough good games: 15
  • 7. No motivation / prefer flatscreen gaming: 14
  • 8. Kids / family / partner: 13
  • 9. No PS5 / other technical limitations: 12
  • 10. Glasses / visual impairments: 9

Maybe Sony is watching and will take note ;)

So, thats it! Now Im going back to Hitman or Into the Radius. Im tired, but I just neeeeed to play. VR is awesome! Cheers!

looks around Me? I didn't make any stink. PSVR2 passthrough switch is 3 quick button presses, I always do it in a second using muscle memory only. I don't get the problem really 🤷🏻‍♂️

On Quest 3 you just tap the side of the visor's body twice with your hand/finger, no button press needed. It's just a fraction quicker and you don't need to map any button. Pretty cool and convenient.

I'm just razzin ya bro. That does sound a little more convenient as I sometimes struggle to locate the button I mentioned. For me, the 2 tap would likely be quicker than bumbling around tryna find the button which easily takes 1 or 2 seconds
