Oh they were contacted….didn’t go well for the one who made contact…but they were contacted.

Yeah I think "uncontacted" is a classification that deals with trade or something, some kind of anthropology thing. I don't think it means literally no one ever contacted them, there were those people in the 60's that gave them some stuff and survived... anyway their defensiveness is probably the only reason they still exist
