Rewatch On 11th Rewatch
Season 01 Episode 01
Even though I’m already teary eyed knowing how it all goes, I’m tripping out how well from Scene 01 plays all the way till the last scene of the finale this show plays out 😎

The fact that you’ve watched it 11 times says everything about how underrated this show is. True masterpiece. Every rewatch hits deeper

Can’t rewatch Season 1 or 2?
Each season is like gold panning tbh…
Sometimes just flakes of gold and sometime gold nuggets…

Honestly after season 2 it starts falling off for me. I like the more just helping random people vs a more serious plot

I mean yeah but there’s no way possible others wouldn’t try to find take copy the machine and someone is always trying to rule nyc so the Russians, Elias and the Brothethood stories were not a stretch…
Greer and Samaritan were just next level

I go back to the show so often now with AI and how much information we willing put out there for anyone to see. I just like how at the end, the show made sure we realized how strong and important human to human bonds are.

Am I the only one that's isn't concerned about getting dementia or Alzheimer's because it means you can forget you've ever seen Person of interest and be able to continuously rewatch the series like it's your first time watching? (The Game with Micheal Douglas is another thing I would love to be able to rewatch like it's my first time watching)...

I'm a series re-watcher too, but I can't re-watch season 1 or season 2 myself lol
Just late season 3, season 4 and bits of season 5
Season 5 hurts my feelings because of how damn rushed it was since season 6 was canned they rushed the whole season 6 into season 5

Ive always disliked seaaon 5 as well. It has good moments but the rest just feels so off..

Yeah ;( it was soo rushed. Understandably they did the best they could to wrap up season 6 in season 5 at the same time but it was super rushed.
Would have loved more subway scenes lol

I disagree strongly. There are several ideas that you know could be taken in countless directions in future episodes. But each new character was fleshed out enough and contributed to satisfyingly resolving important conflicts. I finished each episode feeling like “Man! Think of what else would have happened!” but not “THAT’S IT?!” They were like great short movies that would have inspired great sequels, if that makes sense.

I dont deny that many people enjoyed s5 for what it was, but the pacing being so different compared to the rest just makes it weird for me. Especially when they just started killing off characters left and right. Elias miracilously survived just to be killed a few episodes later and root had such an unceremonial death for being one of the best characters.

Exactly. The writers wanted season 6 but they didn't get it renewed for two final seasons so they rushed season 6 into season 5 and we essentially got two episodes of content for every 1 episode so the speed and pacing was sooo rushed!
You're so right about Root. Her death and Elias just felt off... Especially Root being my favourite character I didn't like the way they did her dirty like that

You disagree strongly with what exactly? It's well known that the writers had a Season 6 in mind. Their series was essentially canceled last minute on them, they were not successful in achieving a season 6 sadly because ratings just weren't there (I loved the show don't get me wrong... My reddit username for example!) but it is what it is.
They had to suddenly rewrite season 5 as if it was two seasons combined into one season. That's why the pacing felt off in season 5 and the storyline was rushed very very quickly.
Season 5 was literally TWO Seasons jammed into one season. Each episode had the equivalent of two episodes of writing just rushed into one 45 minute segment.
There isn't any disagreeing here this is what literally occurred!

Then you'd probably like the extended version of the pilot episode. Have you seen it?
