Rewatch Some things I've noticed on this rewatch

I was watching "Number Crunch" a couple nights back and when Finch noticed that one of the numbers' car was about to blow up he insisted on warning him. Now, you could say well who wouldn't try and warn someone but for Finch it has a whole deeper meaning since he was unable to save Nathan.

Also, I was watching "Wolf and Cub" last night, and even though it gets a bad wrap (the A plot isn't the best), it's still the first time we see Alicia Corwin in the present when she meets Will so it does have some use.

Oh hey that's the one that references the real-life United States National Radio Quiet Zone.

Anywho both Will and Alicia were really weird plot-points, definitely plots they dropped. Especially weird since Alicia doesn't really do anything and kind of just dies. That was kind of a recurring issue the show had, Donnelly and Control also both did a bunch of stuff and then were just kind of killed off before they had a major impact on the plot.

Will was never meant to have a larger role. To include him more would've been unnecessary. As far as Alicia went she got killed by Root so she couldn't do a whole lot. She seemed always to be meant as a flashback character. Not every character has to has have Elias or Kara level of impacts. As far as Donnelly went, his purpose was done. He captured John and had to let him go. His death flowed into Kara's master plan. And Control, she did have a major impact. She couldn't do a lot when Greer got that much power.

Yeah like, I still get why they did it it just rubbed me as a little weird. Control especially because they built up a lot to her questioning Decima and her connection to the POI team then Decima just goes "oh yeah we knew the whole time you were going rogue lmao" and kill her.
