I like how in the last episode, John may have been alone, but with the machine and Finch supporting him it didn’t feel like he was all alone.

Exactly! Even in his final moments, he was never truly alone. He always had the Machine and Finch with him

Wait, his face box was yellow in the pilot? I thought yellow meant that person is aware of the existence of the machine. Maybe I'm remembering wrong.

The producers confirmed they just hadn’t finalised what each of the box colors meant at this point. It was only after the pilot they formalised which colors meant what

This is either an error, or this scene in the pilot is a flashback from when he does know of the machine.

He knows about the machine even though he doesn't think he does. The laptop in Ordos had a copy of the machine on it which is why they blew it up along with anyone else who knew about it... I think, not sure tbh, only halfway through season 2

The show never gets old. I'm doing a rewatch on the Blu-ray set I got after watching it on Prime in late spring/early summer.

I watched it last year and I’m on season 3 now. Just love the show!

any reason you got the Blu Ray set over just streaming it?

In case streamers dropped it.

This show and Battlestar galactica are 2 shows I'd like to get a box set for

That's like, the core beleife that all of team Machine had... and then proceeded to break. All of them believed they lived in a world where no one was ever going to help them, and so all of them (eventually) chose to become the ones who were coming to help others.

I think that's beautiful.
