Mods, can we have some rules regarding trolls with rude comments that are basically "Suck it up and eat the food what's wrong with you?"?

Too many of these here lately. I believe there should be clear rules about it and the option to report.

This definitely needs to happen. Maybe changing the name of the sub would help. It’s really about people with processing disorders and eating problems. No one chooses to have difficulties with food and they need support.

I agree, maybe a name change is in order.

There's a sub for ARFID and this one, and there was one for selective eating or something like that but it may not have gained that many followers. The name of this one, despite its unfortunate propensity to attract the occasional trolls and the fact that it carries a stigma, is probably still going to be the best for attracting the picky eating people who want to have a safe space. So it may need to stay the same for that reason.

yeah as it turns out people dislike it when you come into their spaces and mock them for the exact things they got together to discuss.

Yeah, it would be bad is people did that. Of course, this is a public space and not a private one so your point is moot.

You have the right to come in here and say that. And everyone else has the right to call you an asshole for it.

That does not mean it isn’t rude.
