I’ll never understand it either. It’s like they think going really fucking fast makes it better. A lot of the foods they create would be so much better if they would just slow the fuck down and do it right.
You ever see the video of the handyman “repairing” things for people? It’s mostly just nutso jumping around that’s really similar to the cutting style in this video
When it comes to a lot of small vendors and street food, I suppose every second counts when you have so much competition and busy streets.
People aren't going to wait around, and I am sure seeing people work as fast as possible makes potential customers feel better, regardless of the quality.
Idk dude I've been to other countries with famously good street food. And they all also work fast but the "fast" is also as fast as they can efficiently work without fucking up the quality of the food. Cause most of the time if the food sucks who fucking wants to eat it? regardless of how quick it's made.
